Regular Testing & Tagging is a necessary part of any safety program to help ensure your safety when using electrical equipment at home or in the workplace.

Our registered electricians come to you and are trained to test in accordance with A S / NZS 3 7 6 0

Below is a rough guide of what your test and tag schedule should look like. Contact us for a custom designed electrical maintenance schedule.

When does my equipment need to be tested?

Any electrical equipment that has been repaired, serviced or that is second-hand: After repair or service or on reintroduction to service

Every 3 Months: Hire equipment: Test and tag, demolition and construction environments (as per AS/NZS 3012)
Every 6 Months: Factories, workshops, places of manufacture, assembly, maintenance or fabrication. Commercial cleaning equipment.
Every 12 Months: Where the equipment or flexible supply cord is subject to flexing in normal use OR is open to abuse OR is in a hostile environment.
Every 2 Years: Residential type areas: hotels, residential institutions, motels, boarding houses, halls, hostels accommodation houses etc
Every 5 Years: Where the equipment or supply cord is NOT subject to flexing in normal use and is NOT open to abuse and is NOT in a hostile environment.
